What to pitch

Propose a focused, evergreen subject with a clear reader question. Useful topics might examine a pairing of forms, materials, influences or compositional choices, provided the piece has a distinct angle and offers more than a list of preferences.

What makes a strong proposal

Tell us the working title, central idea, intended reader and the main points you would cover. Explain how the piece will distinguish itself from familiar advice, what examples it needs, and how you will support any factual claims. Keep the proposal concise and do not send a completed article unless requested.
